This website is operated by aecar. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to aecar. aecar offers this website, including all information and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Any new features which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. You should check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Supply of Goods

We only supply parts that are listed for your vehicle. Before attempting to fit replacement parts always compare the new components with those removed from the vehicle to ensure compatibility.

If the parcel/packaging looks damaged/broken or opened please check contents before accepting/signing for the item, as once signed it is legally yours. If the delivered goods are damaged in order for replacement/refund couriers/Royal Mail may ask for photos of the damage and photos of the packaging (Please retain all packaging) 

We reserve the right to deliver goods of a modified design provided that any difference does not make the part unsuitable for your vehicle.  


Returning your goods or Order Cancellation

If you wish to return your goods or cancel the purchase you must return the goods within 30 calendar days of receipt and we will reimburse you for the goods back to your original payment method. We will reimburse you less charges incurred, those are costs of posting/shipping, return shipping charges and payment processing costs. Payment processing costs are not set by us, these can vary from 2.2 to 4.5% depending on the payment method used.

Goods returned after the above time frame may be subject to a 20% re-stocking and Handling charge and will exclude any charges incurred by us. This does not affect your statutory rights. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of the invoice or proof of purchase and reason for return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your goods. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

You should consider using a recorded/trackable posting service. We cannot accept responsibility for returned parcels which are undelivered, please retain your proof of postage etc., you may require it in the event of a claim with your carrier.

AE car is not responsible for any labour charges incurred during fitment or removal of allegedly faulty (or incorrectly supplied) parts. Please advise us of any problems with shortages within 5 days of receipt.

All returns are subject to the following conditions: 

•Goods are returned to us carriage paid.
•Please ensure that all goods are sent back to us via recorded/trackable delivery.
•All Goods are returned complete
•All Goods are returned in the same condition that you received it and in the original packaging.  

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Special Order Products

We cannot accept products that have been classed as a special order or which has been manufactured to your specification for cancellation or return. Despatch times for special order products are given in good faith, but AE CAR cannot be held responsible for delayed deliveries.

Exchanges, Replacements or Refunds 

In the event of goods needing to be exchanged, replaced or refunded due to;

  • The received goods are not suitable or incorrect
  • The received goods are suitable but an exchange would be preferable
  • The received goods have been fitted but are allegedly faulty.

In all cases, AE car would need to be in receipt of the original goods or be in receipt of full payment for the replacement goods before any exchange goods can be sent out. All goods must be returned to us carriage paid, upon return, we will inspect the goods. In some cases where goods have been fitted and are allegedly faulty, we may have to return the goods to the manufacturer for further inspection.  


Warranties & Guarantees

All warranties and guarantees are provided by the manufacturers/UK importers and are subject to their terms and conditions.

AE car does not produce any spare parts and we will deal directly with manufacturers/UK importers on your behalf but accepts no liability for any losses, costs damages, charges or expenses caused by any warranty claim. 

Force Majeure

We cannot be held responsible for contingencies beyond our control such as strikes, lockouts, shipping delays, fire, war etc. All confirmed orders may be partially or wholly suspended without liability on our part. In such an event the purchaser will have no claim against us for loss or damage either direct or consequential which may result. 

Royal Mail UK Delivery 

Orders sent by Royal Mail: We do advise that the majority of orders are received within 1-3 working days of despatch. However, for Royal Mail to class the order as lost in the post we have to allow them 15 working days from the due by date before we can submit a claim for the lost post [this is a Royal Mail rule] 

If you still haven't received your order, please contact us  & we will submit a claim to the Royal Mail. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail.  

Royal Mail Europe/International Delivery 

Orders sent by Royal Mail: We do advise that the majority of orders are received within 3-9 working days of despatch. However, for Royal Mail to class the order as lost in the post we have to allow them 20 working days for goods to arrive at European destinations and 25 working days for the rest of the world from the due by date, before we can submit a claim for the lost post [this is a Royal Mail rule]. 

If you still haven't received your order, please contact us & we will submit a claim to the Royal Mail. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail.   

Courier Delivery 

We will only send replacement goods or refunds once Couriers confirm that the goods are lost.

Please contact us if your goods are lost/delayed after 

 UK - 5 working days

 Europe - 10 working days

 International - 10 working days

Please note all claims on shipments must be initiated within 14 working days of the invoice date, as carriers may reject requests due to a lapse of time. The outcome of claims is subject to the decisions of the carriers.



Delivery times are given in good faith, but AE CAR cannot be held responsible for delayed deliveries. Transit times quoted are for major cities, other destinations may require additional time in transit. Our liability for non-delivery of the Goods will be limited to, at our discretion, replacing the Goods within a reasonable time, issuing a credit note or a refund of the purchase price paid.  

Buying from outside the UK

When purchasing from outside the UK charges may be levied by your local government by way of vat/taxes and or import duty tax. These charges vary from region to region and can change without warning. It is the responsibility of you the customer to make yourself aware of any charges that may be imposed. We will under no circumstances accept liability for any charges for return or destruction of goods ordered. Returned products will be refunded less any shipping/return charges. If you are not prepared to pay your local VAT, import duty and or charges please do not buy.  


Surcharges - exchange units

After we have received the old unit, they will be returned and inspected by our suppliers. We will refund for old unit surcharge after our suppliers agree to refund us for the surcharge. Buyer pays for return postage of old units to AE CAR. Old units must be returned within 3 months of the invoice date.

Products with an old unit surcharge are fully refundable. Old units must be returned in one complete piece. 

Surcharge on old units may be rejected for the following reasons:

  • Severe/Extreme corrosion
  • Worn casing
  • Incomplete
  • Unauthorized modifications
  • Broken pieces
  • Missing pieces
