With DPD local you will receive an email or text on the morning of your delivery stating your 1-hour delivery slot. 
If the hour is not convenient then you can choose from a number of options to ensure your delivery doesn't fail.

•  Scotland - 1 to 2 working days (Excluding Scottish Highlands & Islands) 

• Zone 1
•  Isle of Man - 2 working days (Select Isle of Man in countries list not United Kingdom)
•  Isle of Wright - Next working day (Select Scottish Highlands & Isle of Wright)
•  Scottish Highlands - 2 to 4 working days
•  Scottish Islands - 2 to 5 working days
